This is about our history about how we formed a band.

😼

Around 2007 when they were younger, David and Alexandria Braxdy began living their life with their cousin Cooper Tecnologik, and they all had a passion for music, yet they couldn't ever reach their dream at the time.

KLeAR KaTZ originally formed just three members.
"We decided to make a band,"
said KLeAR KaTZ's artist/producer David Braxdy, which goes by his stage name Day-B.
"Definitely the first thing on our minds was what we were going to name it."

The original name became BluKatz, named after Cooper's play room walls; they were blue and the band loves cats.

"When we got older, around 2011, we decided to change the name because Alexandria and I were worried if the name was already taken. We looked all over the Internet. From results we got we began to think it was taken, so we looked up every color we could think of and put at the end 'Katz' in the title."

All were taken, so they came up with "KLeAR", since the word was technically not a color. Turns out the name wasn't taken in the music industry!

"Cooper and I came up with lowercase vowels for the band name, and for most of what we wrote for our label to be recognizable."

Haley "Carly Moniik" Kende of KLeAR KaTZ.

Let's come back to when KLeAR KaTZ originally formed just three members. At some point, they were four.

Alexandria held the stage name Amber, and was the former lead singer of the group. Overtime she left the band and the group became three again.
Cooper Tecnologik (stage name and real name) is the Music Board Player– or, MBP– for KaTZ, meaning he is the musician in control of the electronics within their music with hi-tech gear, mainly his iPad. He is also a collaborative partner with David and they write their songs together, or by themselves. "Cooper is the brains of KaTZ,"  David says.

During 2011 the Braxdys meet with Tecnologik in the Summer and he introduces Haley Kende (Carly Moniik) to the band. She is currently the lead singer.

In 2014 CT and David wrote their first complete song together, "Say Goodbye," about dealing with bullying and learning to avoid it.

Their second song on production is "Can We Be Together." It was made when Alexandria sung a random song, it was intended to be made just for laughs until David chose to produce it, and turned it into the band's first classic love song.

The band is still building up their releases and final touches to make their album the best to their ability.
In the meantime David has found a couple of new partners and is currently working on founding a label home for him, the band and his partners: High Visions Music, an arts and music project for young people who do what they love.

ToXiC JuNGLe: SiDe a has released on the HVM Telegram and will soon be accessable to everyone on Soundcloud (and possibly other platforms).
